National Day of Commemoration
Events were held across the country on Sunday 14th July marking the National Day of Commemoration. These events take place to remember and honour all of the Irish people who have died at war.
Deirdre Ryan and Lily Power Ahern were both working in Collins Barracks at the main event in which President Michael D Higgins and Taoiseach Leo Varadkar were in attendance. Deirdre Ryan was vision mixing and Lily was the production runner for the live broadcast on RTE.
President Higgins laid a wreath on behalf of the people of Ireland and inspected a guard on honour by members of the defence force.
We’re so proud of both Deirdre and Lily for their work on such an important and memorable day.
